Our Mission
The Austin Interfaith Arts and Music Festival (AIAMF) seeks to provide opportunities for people of all faith traditions and nationalities to encounter the transforming beauty of spiritually-inspired art and music. Our hope is that such encounters will help us bridge that which divides us so that we may join together in celebrating that which unites us.
In the face of so many challenges in this world, we strive to overcome fear, intolerance, and bigotry with understanding, acceptance, and love.
Proceeds generated through the festival establish regular assistance programs for the poor and homeless in the Austin community. In addition, our partnership with Austin Community Foundation provides funds for their extensive community-service programs around Austin and the Travis County area.
Our Logo
Our logo reflects the unity of The Divine Being in the diversity of human religious philosophy. The golden circle represents the Divine Light that is interwoven among all faiths. The 12 major religious traditions represented are, from top right, clockwise left: Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Zoroastrian, Tao, Native American, Jewish, Christian, Sikh, Islam, Baha'i, and Unitarian Universalist.
Donations to AIAMF
AIAMF depends strongly on community support to fulfill their mission. The Austin Interfaith Arts and Music Festival has partnered with Austin Community Foundation and as such, all donations are tax-exempt under Federal regulations. Donations may be made conveniently and securely online. A donation letter for your records will be sent to you promptly.
