2008 Austin Interfaith Arts & Music Festival
Seeking Commonalities ... Celebrating Diversity

October 17, 18 & 19, 2008

Our Mission

The Interfaith Arts and Music Festival seeks to provide opportunities for people of all faith traditions and nationalities to encounter the transforming beauty of religious art and spiritual music. Our hope is that such encounters will help us bridge that which divides us so that we may join together in celebrating that which unites us.

Our Logo

Our logo reflects the unity of The Divine Being in the diversity of human religious philosophy. The golden circle represents the Divine Light that interweaves among all traditions and includes within it all those religious paths, known or unknown to the world, who have held aloft the Light of Truth through the darkness of human ignorance. The 12 major religious traditions represented are, from top right, clockwise left: Buddhist, Hindu, Jain, Zoroastrian, Tao, Native American, Jewish, Christian, Sikh, Islam, Baha'i, and Unitarian Universalist.
